A friend of mine (woman) spoke highly about this place so I thought I'd give it a try. No one at the front counter. You have to wander around to find an employee and then wait for them to help you. This was when they opened at 8 a.m., first thing in the morning. I needed my windshield wiper motor fixed. They worked, but they would stop during the rain. I told him the motor works fine but there's a leak and water is getting in there and shorting out the motor. 3 hours later they said my motor was no good. The only thing they wanted to do was replace the motor at $218 plus tax. I can go anywhere and get a part replaced on my car. I went to an automotive electrician to get an electric motor fixed. Apparently they can't fix electric motors, but they call themselves automotive electricians. This place is interested nothing but money and profit. And this place smells like a$$. It's the worst smell I've ever experienced in my life. Will never go back. Disgusting rip-off artists.

Bought what I thought was a new starter for my car less than a year ago. Come to find out it is a rebuilt starter. It was drawing way to much amperage. It made my positive terminal cable smoke and burned out my solenoid. Then it locked up and when I called to ask about it I was told, "Well if you keep cranking it its going to heat up your cable. Its not meant to be started over and over...." So, theres a limit on how many times I can start my car?! Then he tells me to bring it in and let him look at it. And of course he tells me hes going to charge me just to look at it. No thanks, man. Wont go back again.

I stopped in to get a $2.00 contact for the starter solenoid for my Harley. When I asked for the part I was told that they do not have it. But when I asked if I put the starter back together and brought it in, well, they could fix it for $100.00+  I have been using Lenz for over 20 years and will NEVER set foot on the property again. He does not care about his customers AT ALL !!! Just the amount of money he can squeeze out of each and every one of us. Found a complete rebuild kit for it online for $15.00.  Do some research on what you need before you go here, throwing your hard earned money away...

I am just curious as to how this place is still in business? Someone i came across yesterday was stuck with her dead battery, and i happen to try to help this woman, she was a sweet lady with an eldery mother stuck with a bad alternator because Doug gave her a dud for an alternator. 
Supposedly your warranty covers a year and its been less than that on top of the fact that you sold Her the wrong alternator for her vehicle.
Then on top of that you have the nerve to berate her for being physically disabled.

I did not want to believe that a place of business would take advantage of  the people who put cash in their hands but judging on all the negative reviews of people testifying the same complaints i am convinced that the poor woman was taken advantage and recieved some verry crass attitude from the owner of this establishment .

You are a disgusting peice of work Doug Lenz and i hope you humble yourself real quick before your business really suffers. You do not treat people like this and expect positive feedback. You owe this woman an apology and a new alternator.

EVERYONE PLEASE DO NOT PATRON IN THIS SHOP YOU WOULD BE BETTER OFF WITH A SHADE TREE MECHANIC

If you need your Alternator, generator, Starter, etc rebuilt this is the place to go. Honest, reasonable, and generally quick.
