This is as nice of a restaurant as you will find in Genessee county and probably one of the wealthiest clientele that you will find as well. The food is good but a little less great than it should be for the prices. Would be a 4-5 star all place if it were not for these two issues. 1) there is a certain whiff of superiority with the staff/clientele that makes it feel less welcoming, some probably prefer that 2) and this is the big one, on two separate occasions I called ahead, one time to place a sizable takeout order and another time to make reservations. Both times, they had no record of the call, we were forced to wait for a table even though I had reservations, to their credit they did whip up my large takeout order in about 10 minutes. Still, both times they messed up!

We found this restaurant on TripAdvisor after we checked into our motel after a 10 hour drive! What a lovely place to unwind in. We were on the porch over-looking the small end of a small lake about 100 feet below. It was quiet and peaceful on a beautiful summer evening.
We had spent the month of April in Italy and were happy to explore a northern Italian restaurant on our way to northern Wisconsin. We were not disappointed. I'm grateful to TripAdvisor for the data to be able to choose wisely in unfamiliar places. 
We shared the spinach and grilled zucchini for starters which were both very good and were accompanied by very good bread. He also enjoyed his chicken Marsala and I my grilled tuna. The green beans were tender crisp and the mashed potatoes were wonderful. Our server, #96, was engaging, responsive, courteous and curious to every extent that was perfectly appropriate, all of which was thoroughly pleasing - an added benefit not always encountered. 
Should we travel this way again we would happily explore the menu further!

Classic Italian fare. The best (and only) upscale Italian in the area. Good wine list and small rotating beer list. Small bar-style area is available as well. Great lunch or dinner location.

Came here for our anniversary with a couple friends. If you're looking for a romantic theme this could be your place. If you're looking for great service, this place has it. If you're looking for upscale compared to other restaurants this would be your place.

My only complaint is that the quality of the food didn't match the price spent here. I thought it was right on par with other decent lower scale restaurants.

Food and service was great.  Credit card surcharge on bill was ridiculous and an embarrassment.  Management doesn't seem to have a clue.  This is not the way to run a restaurant.  Even the staff's attempts to explain don't mask a foolhardy policy that is not seen elsewhere in similar establishments.
