Very large selection but very hard to want to buy much. The books are extremely expensive for even soft cover books that are in very bad shape. There are some good prices for hard cover books occasionally but many of the books that aren't rare are still priced as if they were. Fun book store for sure!

A superb experience; as vital to any well-rounded Charlottesville visit as a jaunt up to Monticello, UVa Grounds and The Corner. Great selection of used books in excellent condition. Occasional rarities and treasure can be found.

Smells like a used book shop should. As others have said, great collection and organization despite first appearances. Their math and hard sciences section is really good compared to many used bookstores.

We were only in town for an afternoon, but made sure to stop in. Huge selection, well organized, and the owner is great.
