I live an hour away and when I come to town I love to get Dairy Queen but it seems like every time I come here I have the same issue... when I ask for extra Graham base and pay for it I would like to see it. My icecream still looks and tastes like vanilla and when extra Graham Base is added it turns a light brown.... I've asked once to have it remade and the guy that made it again today gives an attitude and so I didn't even bother to ask today I just asked if the extra Graham Base was put in and they said yea so I just left but am highly unsatisfied...
I just have to say the worker tonight there at 750pm made my heath brownie treat a 100/10. It was the best treat by far that I’ve ever had! The ingredients were spread evenly and perfect. Thank you for being my hero!
Closed 1hr earlier than advertised. Employee came out to ensure all lights, including the “open,” were turned off in right front of us.
Went to DQ today to get a Blizzard and was shocked to see they had a "Amber Heard vs. Johnny Depp" tip jar where you were supposed to be putting money into whatever side you liked more. I wanted to just walk out. What a truly disgusting thing - to turn a domestic abuse/defamation trial into a fun little game for people to play where they can pit a victim against her abuser. I know it's a fun internet thing to pretend like they're both bad but in the real world, domestic abuse victims will walk in expecting to get a dessert, see that and have to relive their abuse. I understand the teenagers working behind the counter probably think it's funny, but I hope whatever manager approved that is ashamed of themselves, and whatever higher ups they answer to sees this review and fixes things. Truly sickening and appalling. I'll never go back there again. To any domestic abuse survivors trying to navigate society's handling of this trial - do NOT go to this DQ location.
If the teenagers working here were coached on how to better be customer service oriented, this place would get five stars. Overhearing how they were interacting with customers while I was in the store a few nights ago made me pretty upset that I left and went to another ice cream parlor. I spent a lot of time coaching and being a leader to people in restaurants, so its not hard, its just a by product of them not giving a care about who is in charge. And because of that, the customers are treated like they are wasting their time and they would rather be in that back office instead of paying attention and doing you know, their jobs. Want good service here? go during the day when the team lead is more than likely going to be there.
The customer service here is absolutely terrible. Employees seem to not understand how a lines work and takes customers ahead of the one standing right in front of them. After a delayed wait, order was set on the counter and employee walked away without saying a word. Will not be returning to this store again, would rather make the further drive to the stores on Main st.
Every DQ I’ve been to seem to gladly modify an order to make a customer happy. However, the DQ on Ken Pratt in Longmont refuses to modify their Orange Julius by adding ice cream. My 87 year old mother loves her Orange Julius with ice cream. Now I know I cannot go to this Dairy Queen to get what she wants, so obviously I will not go to this particular DQ in the future.
Never had a treat I did not enjoy! Friendly staff
We really enjoy going here. The staff is always friendly and the food is very good. However it was odd the other day my milkshake coast a dollar more than what it shows. They said whip cream is an extra 50 cents and so is a cherry. I said that's weird it doesn't show that on the board. I was at a dairy queen in ft Collins and they said they never do that and it is weird. Not a big deal I guess but you would think the price is for what the picture shows. The menu should show that there is an extra charge for that. But why does this location do that and others do not?
No tips during the pandemic for this store’s employees... who have been working every single day through this pandemic, mind you!! And DQ won’t even turn the tip function on for credit cards, nor can they even set a jar out. I won’t be back. I support business that love their people. Update 1/5/2021: Thanks for your response, I messaged you via your link. You monitor and reply on behalf of the franchisees, so let's see what you do about their lack of value of our frontline workers. I am hoping this was just a mindless oversight from the owner, and will be corrected. TY Update 2/9/2021: Nothing. No response.
