I was able to get back to Dave's last month after my first visit a year ago.  I really enjoyed visiting for dinner this time.  The food is not fancy, but it is really good.  The prices are reasonable.  The staff is really friendly.  I've not been here when it was busy so the service level may be different at those times, but I was happy with what we experienced.

Very good dinner food! Service is very friendly too. The food is really tasty and you get a big serving on anything that you order. The pies are all hand made, and the best pies I have ever had. The place is not the most beautiful to look at, but the decor is interesting to look at while you eat. This is REAL dinner food... I recommend trying the pork fritter (see pic!) I also recommend that you DO NOT )
leave with out trying a slice of pie, or at least take one to go!

I spent my birthday here August 4th, 2017. It is a nice quiet little bar. Mostly working class guys hanging out here. Friendly, never issues. It has a diner in the front and a little bar area in the back. Staff are courteous and kind. The bartender went above and beyond with an unbelievable chocolate martini for my birthday! The drink was well made, and tasted like chocolate candy! Good environment. Solid food. Tight quarters for the staff it seems, they zip around there with their good service and darn near bang into each other with those old style diner swinging doors. I got a good laugh when two nearly ran each other over, managing to catch BOTH of their ORDERS. They only lost ONE PIECE OF CUCUMBER FROM A SALAD! AMAZING JOB LADIES! It was slapstick comedy at it's finest! Good people good night. Hats Off To Dave's Diner!

The food here is AMAZING. Wasn't a Fan of how slow the servers were the seemed to cater to the people that are their regulars and seniors more to new people they haven't seen before. What the servers lacked for service wise the cooks made up for by the quality of the food. I don't think I've ever eaten a salad as crisp and fresh as the one I received and the ranch is on point! Fries are made just how all should be made. I will be back solely for the food!

I had a good experience with my family just before we took my step-dad to the airport but I do have some complaints. The good, first; The decor and the service given were both cheerful, funny and amazing. You feel welcomed and taken care of the minute you walk into this place. The not so go; My meal was, for a lack of a better word, lacking. I ordered the Biscuits and Gravy with a side of Hash and got exactly what I ordered. Sadly, it was mall things in the meal that amounts to a lack of one star such as the sausage being very greasy and the biscuits overly dry to the point that the gravy actually wasn't giving it any moisture. The Hash was also pretty greasy. I've eaten there before and loved there burgers and fish & Chips but I don't think I'll be getting breakfast there again.
