The staff was super friendly and helpful.(the reason for the 4 stars). I could not find a place to stay in New Orleans due to the Country and Italian Festivals. She kept the front door locked for safety due to overflow from the festival's. ( nice). You had to let your first in . It was only a 20 min drive from the city. The room was clean with a brand new mattress and flat screen tv. I did not eat breakfast ( can't give a review). The elevator was slow and scary but I've seen that a lot at majority of Days Inn I've visited. It needs better lightening around the facility. Overall I would stay again if I had to pick a second choice .

Thanks,  good clerk, clean room, but someone hit a power pole and knocked out the power for about 2 hours,  the desk clerk was very helpful in this situation.

The wife and I were traveling through and stumbled upon this Days Inn in laplace LA.  A lot was going on so most Hotels were sold out.  Luckily this establishment had one room left.  Anita, at the front desk was beyond helpful.  I have a background in the hotel industry and know how frustrating it can be especially at midnight when we arrived. She went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of.  She even called in the morning to ask if we wanted breakfast before they started putting it away.  The hotel itself is alright BUT I gave it a 5 star solely on the customer service of Anita!  Thank again!!

Pros: The staff are very friendly and informative. The prices are very good. Cons: You get what you paid for. Neutral: Breakfast was OK. Nothing spectacular but not too bad either. It was reasonably clean.
