Location was good, but renovations were needed.  Smoke free room was NOT smoke free.

I was fooled by the relatively high rating of this location. I suspect many of the high reviews are not legitimate.
The room was old, in disrepair, dirty, and had faulty bathroom fixtures and lighting.

There were no bedbugs, and they let me have a late checkout, but those are literally the only good things I can say about it. 

I hope someone sees this review instead of just checking the overall score like I did.

I recently rented one of the biggest rooms here, for a family of 3 that was victims of the recent Louisiana floods, AND DAYS INN WAS THE BEST PLACE BY FAR FOR THIS FAMILY, ALL YOU WHO CLAIM NOT TO 4/5 STARR RATE IT, GO BACK TO YOU'RE EXTREMELY HIGH STANDARDS AND GTF AWAY FROM ACTUALLY NICE CLEAN PLACES LIKE THIS ONE, FOR Y'ALL ARE THE UNDERTAKERS OF WHY NICE PLACES LIKE THIS ONE CAN'T GET BUSINESS!--- I WILL ALSO BE RENTING A VENUE SOON THERE FOR A BABY SHOWER, NO THAT EXPLAINS TO YOU ALL HOW WELL PLEASED WE WAS WITH THIS PLACE!
