Although we knew our little terrier was nearing the end with kidney disease she let us know New Year's Day that it was time. With broken hearts we faced the decision that no pet parents want to face. The parking lot was full. The reception staff was very caring and kind. They originally said they would take her to get vitals and put her IV in. They immediately brought her back and lead us to a private room explaining that they had 2 critical cases and they didn't want us to have to wait but it would be awhile. We appreciated them letting us know - they checked back with us later to let us know it would still be a little while. We had that additional time with our girl - her resting between us on her soft blanket on the couch. When the time came, they took her for her IV, she was back with us in a few minutes. Dr. Graham spoke with us and explained everything. Our hearts are broken but her passing was peaceful and we appreciate the excellent care and compassion that was given to us and Harley

My wife and I recently were faced with the tough decision of have our dog laid to rest. The place was very busy when we arrived but we were attended to quickly. Our dog was treated kindly and with great care up until the moment came to say goodbye. Even after she had passed the vet handled her with such care. Although our visit was heart wrenching we were treated very well. Thank you for that.

Brought my daughter's puppy to the facility for an ingested sock emergency and the staff was courteous and wonderful. They explained everything to me and were very good with my daughter's pup. I would highly recommend.

We took our pug in due to vomiting and not eating. They reviewed the labs that they had drawn. We were told her liver values were 3 times what they should be and electrolytes were off. They talked about Addison’s Disease and tumor on the liver. They wanted to keep her overnight to the tune of $1500 for ultrasound, X-rays, monitor electrolytes, and fluids. We had a bad feeling, took her home, and took her to our vet the next day. Our vet sent over for the labs and report from the urgent care. She walked into our room and said the dogs blood sugar was over 500 - well-DUH- the dog was a diabetic and all she needed was insulin. After a week on insulin she is doing great! They hadn’t even put that the blood sugar was so high in the report! So now we know she is a diabetic and not finding this out from urgent care could have cost our dog her life. Beware!!!

Went in to get our pet put to sleep after an unexpected issue. Did not know what to expect, but considering the circumstances the staff at DCC was professional and empathetic. They made a troublesome time as calm as possible. Very soothing and caring.
