I went to this doctor's office last year because I needed to find a primary physician and also because I was having pain in my arm and upper back. The moment I mentioned the word pain to the person at the front desk after asking if they were accepting new patients I was quickly told that they were not accepting patients with chronic pain and wasn't asked anything more about my condition. I had to look up the meaning of chronic pain. Chronic pain is long lasting pain. Maybe they have problems with drug addicts asking for pain pills. I however found another doctor and found out I that I just had a pinched nerve that completely healed after few weeks. I also found out that I have high blood pressure. If I hadn't found another doctor this would have caused even more problems. I thought that it was really rude that I wasn't asked any more questions and was rejected the moment I mentioned anything about pain. Thankfully my current doctor's office is much more professional and well run.

Staff is overall fairly friendly, very flexable for apppointments. Got a letter out of no where that I was no longer a patient with the excuse that the meds I have taken for many years resulted in this, after NEVER being brought up as a problem. Very shocked, especially as the letter was dated previous to an appointment I had which no one mentioned anything, doctor included. Wasn't aware of his opinion as appointments mostly result in painful ackward silence. Strangely enough, this was right after losing my insurance. Which kinda leaves me in a really bad spot. The first time I was seen by Dr deck I said i was completely ok with changing meds. But no suggestion was ever made. Incorrectly misidentified appendicitis, which almost resulted in my death oddly enough. No people skills, and random excuses to get rid of patients has caused me to change my initial review. Although, saving grace being that some of the staff that do the appointments and at least one of the nurses are lovely people. Strangely enough, the meds werent pain meds but stuff I've taken since before Dr.deck. Extremely disappointed in the whole process as I do not have insurance and just quite literally had a med check, which one would think would be a fantastic time to discuss medications . Every experience is different but I have to say Doctor Deck really has put me in a bad spot. Probably the most confusing letter I've ever read, which came regular mail. Called a nurse I have never met and she said she would ask deck about the situation but I didn't hear back. Mind you, the paper says to not call in but I had thought it had to be something kind of mistake, as I was fully paid up and have had two appointments in the last month, a med check and an allergy breakout. Very, very cruel to do something like that to someone who doesn't ask the moon and takes feedback well. I can't recommend him, despite his mostly amazing staff. Very saddened by the situation, and by the sounds of it, I won't even get to speak to Doctor Deck at all now. Everyone is unique and has different cirumstances to consider, as there are people that might find success with the doctor . But there is no way I would recommend this doctor to anyone. A real shame considering I thought him to be an excellent doctor previously. Kinda up a creek with no paddle now .

Had Doctor John Deck MD for 25 plus years he truly cares for his patients and listens to them and how they feel I never knew or had a BETTER!!! Doctor hes had truely help me with all my illnesses. A 5 star plus Doctor Thank you

I LOVE Dr. Deck. I have been a patient since he first opened his office. I never have trouble getting an appointment (even if it is on the same day) and he has EXCELLENT bed side manner. The staff is always helpful and friendly. I HIGHLY recommend his practice!

Highly Recommended. Dr. Deck has been my family practice physician for about 12 years, I have a lot of experience with him and would recommend him to anyone who asked me for a doctor. He can be a no nonsense doctor, which some people do not like, however it makes it easier to work through your medical problems. He has a ton of experience and can solve most any problem. On top of all of this, he is compassionate and strongly cares about a patients well being.
