It's a mall. All outdoors & with confusing parking. It's a mall. With many of the usual stores and no surprises. Parking is confusing and a hassle. Access by public transportation is spotty. Bike parking is an afterthought at best. Everything is outside so, if the weather is bad, you get to enjoy it.

The Dedham mall seems to have been around forever and it is constantly evolving adding new places all the time. Lots of parking and a great selection of stores with a nice mix of discount brands.

The mall has a lot of good stores. Multiple entrances help with traffic congestion, but it can still be a problem at times. Stop and Shop is the grocery store for the mall. It also has other large tenants like Lowe's, Dick's and Toys R Us. There's also a few restaurants as well. The DHAC is also in the complex. The 34, 34E, 35 and the 52 all serve the mall as far as bus service goes. It's your usual shopping center, but the parking lot layout is definitely not the best.

The Dedham Mall is doing a lot better than when I was younger. The mall features a DSW, TJ MAXX, 5 Below, Old Navy, GameStop, and Footaction, in the front. In the back of the mall, there is a Lowe's. There used to be a Sears. The Toys R Us may still be there. If you don't want to deal with all of the drama of going to South Shore Plaza and want to go to these specific stores the Dedham Mall is great. There are some places to eat right across the way, but as someone else said you have to walk outside to go to the different stores.
