I will start my review by stating that Dr. Klassman is an excellent dentist. I was referred to him by my then family dentist for gum disease that developed and more indepth treatment that he could not provide.
I needed Laser Periodontal Therapy which Dr. Klassman specializes in.

Their office is very clean, comfortable and well maintained. The staff is very courteous and friendly, and professional.

My expensive and only problem was how up front they were about accepting my insurance and not finding out that they did not participate with my insurer until after I had signed the contract to have the procedure done. To be told we (take) your insurance is not the same as we (participate) with your insurance company.

This expensive lesson set my family back $8,305.00, with a reimbursement from my insurance company of about $170.00. 

When your gum's are bleeding, painful and worse you just want to be healed. I have insurance lets get this started so my pain will end. You accept my insurance, game on. 

As a cautionary tell for anyone that reads this review please learn from my expensive mistake:

1. Don't let pain cloud your judgement.
2. Don't ask if you take my insurance, ask if they participate with your insurance company.
3. Call your insurance company and verify that they do participate with that medical establishment as    insurers records my not be up to date.

I want to thank the staff at Delaware Periodontics for making this procedure very easy. Guiding me thru the financial aspect of the work that needed to be done and even the work that was done was flawless. Thank You

Just had the laser periodontal therapy done this morning; 12/16/2011. Dr Klassman was terrific; you can tell he enjoys being a Dentist and loves his work. I was very apprehensive before the treatment about what was going to happen. There was not any pain involved with the treatment. My wife recommended Dr Klassman, and I am very glad I took her advice. I would recommend Dr Klassman to anyone who needs any type of periodontal work done.

The periodontal work I received from Dr Klassman and his staff could not have been handled any better.  From my first appointment all the way through the actual procedure, I was 100% impressed and satisfied.  Everyone in the office made sure I was comfortable, at ease, and totally informed about what was going to happen every step of the way.  I recommend Dr Klassman and Delaware Periodontics without reservation to anyone who has periodontal needs.  Dave
