This was like camping in a parking lot.  Duck poo everywhere, right on marsh.  The sites are difficult to back in to.  Saw a dead snake, on the road at the edge of the camping area.  Turned out to be a Timber Rattlesnake!  Asked at the check in booth re: snakes in area.  They had never seen a snake and didn't know what ones were in the area.  We showed them the photo of the rattlesnake.  There should be signs telling campers to be aware.  Hard to imagine in such a high traffic area and right next to the beach.  Traffic noise is almost constant.  The bridge lights were beautiful though.  But, never again.

The area immediately around the campground is spectacular. It is only a two-minute walk to the Sandy Beach or less than a one minute walk to the jetty wall. The problem is the campground itself is just a parking lot. No trees no cover no privacy. The whole Campground is just a big open space and you have to hear cars driving over the bridge all day and all night long because the campground is right under the bridge

Next year will be 50 years that I've been coming here. Love it, love it, love it!!!  Memories with mom, dad, my children and now grandchildren.  Great camping facility. The beach,  inlet and bay are all here at one spot. Have fun on the best beach along the Delaware, Maryland coastline or go fishing within walking distance. Playgrounds and activities for the little ones and pet friendly.

Great campsite. Got a camp store and staff are ready to help out. Good for fishing too.

Close to the beach and the inlet. Lots of traffic noise. Sites are level and reasonable size. Not huge but not uncomfortable.  We love the water and wildlife so it is enjoyable for us.
