DELIVERY EXPRESS ALMOST KILLED ME!

I ordered food, they brought me the wrong food that I was allergic to that could have killed me if I hadn’t caught it first and then refused to fix it by bringing me the food that I actually ordered and wasn’t allergic to. When I pressed further and multiple times explained I was allergic to the wrong order they sent me and that I would never order something I was allergic to they blamed me for not knowing my own allergies (which I do) and refused to refund my money. When I called the restaurant that I had asked delivery express to get my food fro,m the restaurant was very apologetic and said that delivery express was lying when they said they couldn’t bring me new food and the restaurant even went so far to say that they would have replaced my meal completely free if delivery express would have been willing to deliver it to me and that it was on delivery express to meet them half way and make this right because the restaurant really wanted to remedy the situation but delivery express had already refused. Delivery express is a horrible company and I would only order from them if you or your child would be okay with dying from a severe life threatening allergic reaction and then being blamed for something you can’t control such as a life threatening allergy. I’m never ordering from there again and I hope no one else does either. Put your money into better businesses where people are getting fair wages (delivery express drivers get horrible pay) and the business respects the costumers it is serving. I’d be happy if delivery express had all its restaurants pull out (I know for a fact some have because of how horrible delivery express is) and the business closed for good because they are endangering people’s lives and are an overall money hungry, capitalistic ableist business. I gave the, every chance to make this right and they have no regrets so don’t feel regret for not ordering from them.

Completely unprofessional.  While I understand it's a holiday.  They willingly took my order and money and then over an hour later when it was around the delivery time provided by they called to let me know they wouldn't be placing my order.  Please be aware there is zero accountability with delivery express.  First they blamed the restaurant Gnger Garden in amherst, then they said they made the decision together.  Bottom line is they waited over an hour and then minutes to bother to let me know they wouldn't be placing my order.

I’m only giving two stars because the drivers are always friendly and professional. Apart from them, the customer service is egregious and the management of this business is a total joke. On one occasion I placed an order at 9:30 when they close at 10:00. They immediately called to cancel the order because they “were closing soon”. Another order I placed wasn’t even called into the restaurant for two hours at which point the restaurant I tried to order from had just closed. Most recently when I tried to place an order from a restaurant, they called to cancel the order because “the restaurant was closed”. The man on the phone just kept repeating himself and not letting me speak while he complained about how the restaurant didn’t tell him they were closed. After I managed to get off the phone with him, I called the restaurant and unsurprisingly they were open. I can’t say I’m shocked though, all I can say is that I’m never giving them my money ever again.

Absolutely horrendous. We ordered 2.5 hrs ago and are STILL waiting for our food. We were not told that it would be a long wait. I called 20 minutes ago to cancel and was told by the supervisor that I wasn’t allowed to because the food had already been made. Huh...can’t wait to get our cold food.

I had an excellent experience with this company. The website is easy to use, helpful, and accurate. The delivery driver came well within the time limit that was estimated by the website and my food was piping hot. Even with a solid tip this service is quite affordable. A+++.
