DeLucas Trattoria
"Meatballs have been our signature, staple dish — it was kind of the spark behind the original location. We’ll have home-made pasta like fettuccine with prosciutto. We’ll have a homemade black and white fettuccine with squid ink, mussels, clams, shrimp and calamari in a fresh tomato sauce."

Went to lunch today. This is a great addition to the area. The outside space matches the indoor seating area. That is very nice! The menu gave us a good selection. I found the attention to detail impressive. See if you can find the "D" on the ice cube.
Pretty amazing food and super friendly service. The pastas we got were some of the best I've ever had.
Food was excellent and the place itself is gorgeous! It is still new though so service was slow. We had to hunt down our waiter multiple times. Thus why I'm giving it 4 stars. I'll go back when it calms down, and hopefully bring this rating up to a 5.
I came with family since I heard this place was amazing. its very expensive, but the food is unlike any. My appetizers, baked clams and calamari, were both delicious. honestly I would go back just for the calamari. I had the spaghetti with meatballs. The meatballs were soft to the cut and the spaghetti was homemade which made it even better. The live music was a bit too loud but it didn't bother us. My reason for a 4 star was being charged $25 for using card. This was a first time as I've never been seen that, but it was on the menu when I checked the next day online.
The food was mouth-watering, the service was phenomenal, and the atmosphere was welcoming and enjoyable.Food: 5/5
This place is nice and has a great atmosphere. We watched the entire construction of the restaurant by passing by almost every day and the expectation was built up. We finally decided to visit the restaurant. What I didn't like is that we were sitting at a very small table, and I felt very uncomfortable. Honestly, I am not a fan of small spaces for a restaurant so that was a huge turndown. The other tables were full and loud as hell. It was very difficult to have a conversation with my wife and even with the waitresses. The food was good, not much to say, we order the Polpo as an appetizer it was a small portion of octopus and a lot of salad. The pollo Scarpatello was great. The sauce was delicious and the chicken was tender. I didn't like the fact that was no vegetables to balance the dish and the taste in some way was overpowered with Rosemary. My wife liked the coffee and the Margarita pizza. I order a Negroni but it never came to me. The service was great. I will probably not come back in a long time.
Food, service and ambiance were all superb. Went in with low expectations but was glad I ate dinner here
Beautiful place, good food but the staff has to be trained. Our waiter didn't know what was in the diciotto salad. Which mean 18. I'd like to know what 18 things are in an 18 ingredient salad. It came out all arugula so I had to send it back since it's not my favorite. A little arugula I don't mind but the whole salad I can't do. The pasta a little bland.
I was excited to see DeLucas opening the Forest Ave location, as I had heard great things about the Tottenville restaurant but that is far from us. We stopped in for a late lunch on Saturday and were immediately impressed by the decor, service and menu. My wife ordered the Tagiolini Mare E Terra which I was happy for because she gives me the clams, and I had Orecchiette Barese, which I can honestly say was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had. Our server Mike was super attentive, and our overall experience was very enjoyable. Can’t wait to go back !
Went to celebrate a friend's retirement. No complaints about anyone's food. Chicken scarparielo was very good. My GF who never orders cream sauces enjoyed truffle tortellini. Service was attentive but not intrusive. Atmosphere greatly extended with a marvelous singer. Sinatra, Martin etc.Food: 5/5
