Our experience was a mixed bag, but the two star rating is due to the way they choose to do business.  We were interested in a used car that was being sold 'AS-IS', so we knew it would be a questionable purchase.  Denison Motors was good enough to allow us a third-party mechanical inspection. The mechanic couldn't get any of his computer systems to recognize the car, however, to be fair, it could have been the mechanic's error with outdated machines.  When we returned to the dealer we were still open to purchasing the car, and we were given over to another salesman, the 'closer' I assume, who proceeded to speak to us as if we were children. He promised us to fix anything wrong with the car including new tires. The car came with tires that were all from different brands. All but one tire was thread worn, including one that had bad cracks in the sidewall, which is too dangerous to even drive from the lot.  

Here is the kicker! The window sticker essentially says that there is no obligation for Denison Motors to honor any oral contract, and any service done will be charged to the owner. 

Essentially, it is a "we can lie to your face" clause. They will promise you whatever you want to hear, including dinner, so snide was the salesman. He wanted us to hand him a check with the promise to fix everything, for which they would either not do, or charge us separately to do.  So, rather than be take-in by these apparent promises, we asked for it all to be in writing, after we had the vehicle re-checked at a more reputable third party mechanic.  

Since, we caught him in his lie, he started raising the price of the vehicle, and no longer wanted to do business.  If the car checked out at a third party mechanic we were willing to purchase the car 'as is', but in the end it was their own business practices that ruined this deal. 

Rather than being honest from beginning, they chose to be openly dishonest. But again to be fair, that is why I didn't give them one star, since they could have been completely dishonest. For without that sign we would not have known, and I suppose that keeps their dishonest tactics within legal grounds.  

So, simply put, BUYER BEWARE!
