An absolutely wonderful experience. Not only was David Watson straight forward for the estimated price range and time it would take to resurrect a destroyed transmission, he gave solid advice to help me keep the newly rebuilt transmission last longer in a special use heavy duty application. This was not the shop I had intended to use, except I ended up stranded in Sherman instead of at home across Texas when the transmission failed. He even helped me save money on the wrecker to get the adventure van to the shop! The newly rebuilt transmission works flawlessly and better than when I first purchased the van.

I was scared when I brought my truck to him. It had leaked a big puddle of fluid. Thought it was going to take a long time and cost a lot! I am happy to say David is an HONEST TRANSMISSION MAN!! He had me in and out same day and the charge was way LESS than expected. Forget about the one negative rating....the guy will treat you right and does a good job AND stands behind his work! Will definitely use him again!!

I've used them several times over the past few years. I have a highly modified car that had been to over 3 transmission shops to diagnose and repair. After paying to have it worked on at the other places and swapping out transmission after transmission I went to watsons. I stuck around and watched him take the transmission apart and figure out what the problem was. He was able to repair it and it has lasted 7 years. All previous transmissions were lucky to last 4 months. Great value and very knowledgable. The people in the other reviews have to understand that to repair a transmission you have to pull it apart. Doing this takes time and labor, then they are able to give a quote. Great shop. Side note. Look at the other reviews that the other people left. Every review they have ever done is them pissed off about something.
