As a fairly new professional commercial driver, I have eaten at many a truck stop Denny's, but this one in Rock Hill, SC by far has one of the BEST servers I have ever had the pleasure of being served by. Not only was TAMMY professional and with a pleasant smiled that melted all of the mornings troubles away, she also has this dynamic infectious personality that just draws you in and guarantees that you will enjoy your experience dining while under her care. I am an HR professional by trade and if I could bottle up her spirit and sell it to many corporations as to know what true customer service looks like, I most definitely would! KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK TAMMY!

My girlfriend and I ordered our food online at approx. 10:08 earlier this morning. She ordered the Everyday Value Slam which included the Hearty Wheat Pancakes, scrambled eggs, and two strips of turkey bacon. I myself ordered the Steak Skewer and Eggs* Skillet, with an extra steak skewer, eggs whites, red potatoes, as well as Hearty Wheat Pancakes. We had an approx. 18-minute drive to the store from our location and the website itself said that our food would be ready in 20 minutes, we therefore left immediately. When we arrived, we were told that our food would be “right out” and the cook only had to figure where to place the avocado I had ordered. We waited another 10 minutes, only to have a confused waitress hand us the wrong order, which consisted of Buffalo Wings. We then waited another 10 to 15 minutes, to only get half of our food. Apparently, has told to us by the Hostess, our ticket had been lost. Again, we then waited another several minutes to only receive my girlfriend’s order of Heart Wheat Pancakes, but not my own. Who we believed to be the manager at the time, scrambled around the store frantically, seemingly having no control or order within his store. We were given some sort of pancake-like donut holes for free, as a solution to rectify the situation, but really all we really wanted was the food we ordered. When we inspected the food, the steak was not even cooked properly/thoroughly, we received a spoon full of eggs, the bacon was burnt, and the pancakes tasted like mushy flour that hadn’t been cooked all the way. This was a truly disheartening experience. TERRIBLE. DREADFUL. TRASH.

my wife and took our kids here for my youngest son’s first birthday. We thought be a grand old time however we where greeted by an okay waitress. She just wasn’t very pleasant but knew the specials. Which was great. But once gotten the food came around once or twice. Would been a three but the icing on the cake was when checking out the lady at the desk was unpleasant as well and didn’t know the specials and was trying to charges me full price then only adjusted one and that wasn’t the special. When asked for her manager she gotten nasty with us. But when skylar her manager corrected her and adjusted my bill. I felt like she was very professional and the only one pleasant in the entire place just for that I give two instead of one star. I been there before a couple of times; however after this I doubt we will return.

If you're vegan and want something different and don't feel like cooking, they have a vegan option under "build your own burger". Choose the wheat bun and you're good to go!

I like the food here waitress are friendly and fairly quick service. The thing that agravites me is the way they run the check out . Today 12/25/17 I watched as 9 people stood in line waiting to check out and no one at the register.that didn't include the 6 people trying to get in, I've never understood why Dennys wants to do this because I've run into this several places I've been. You would think that paying your bill would be the fastest service they could perform, BUT NO.
