Hello my name is David Peterson I was a patient of Dr. Don W. Ririe for over 3 years. During my many visits he was extremely kind and patient with my needs. He fixed the crown and bridge work that desperately needed to be done on my teeth. I also loved that he kept the promise of the previous doctor before him when Dr. Ken Waddell my previous Dentist Retired unexpectedly. I recommend visiting him as he is very nice and friendly and does great work.

I don't like to leave negative reviews, but I am very pretty shocked at the lack of compassion at this office. I let them know that I was going through some very major medical issues while their patient and it was very expensive so I was having to take care of my teeth as a lower priority, but was doing so. In fact they made thousands of dollars between myself and my not so great dental coverage. I had Brain Surgery last year and prior to that had VERY bad and random headaches. Due to a migraine I missed an appointment and didn't give enough notice. Understandable, I guess, that they would charge me the no-show fee (but a bit frustrating). But the second no-show charge is just outright heartless in my opinion. My appointment was a Monday afternoon. That Thursday I suffered a devastating miscarriage and was extremely upset. I called them Friday morning to cancel the appointment only to hear "we are closed on Fridays so if you are cancelling a Monday appointment, it will not be enough notice". What was I to do? It's not like I could have forseen this horrible event. When I spoke with the office and explained my emotional state and the effort I made to cancel timely, they had no reaction, just "ok" and sure enough, I got a bill. Due to my financial hardship I have to prioritize all expenses and with their lack of compassion, I didn't have much desire to pay that bill as I would have had to miss a doctor's appointment that month to offset it. And now I have been SERVED papers for a small claims judgement! They must really want that $100. Now it will cost me an additional $78. They knew they were taking on a patient with health conditions that could result in difficulty knowing when I would be well. They knew about the financial strain to care for my teeth. They knew about the devastating miscarriage. But I guess they stick to the rules with no consideration of personal circumstances. They have every right to do so, but keeping a happy customer sometimes means working with them. But I guess that money means more. With any kind of compassion from them or willingness to work with me, I certainly could have found a way to pay this, but it was so hard to do so knowing they were so unconcerned with the personal circumstances of their patient.
