I am leary to go back for a visit on Friday. The dentist at the front desk lied to my face, and pointed to a sentence on my insurance form that he claimed stated my insurance doesn't cover specialists. That was a complete lie. Yes, they do cover specialists with a referral. I handed him the referral to copy. After a bunch of sales talk, he said they could offer me a discount. The insurance clearly states the procedure that is covered with the referral. When someone lies, I usually run the other direction. I will give the specialist the benefit of a doubt, but if she also lies, I will go elsewhere.

Sadly I am extremely disappointed in the service I received here. It felt like I was being pushed through a sales pitch more than receiving a paid for service. My wife scheduled me a routine cleaning and inspection. I went in prepared and ready but they did nothing of the sort. They did an inspection and then recommended that I have a laser treatment done on my gums to the tune of several hundred dollars. Keep in mind that's OBVIOUSLY not included under your regular cleaning so there is an additional copay for that too. When I asked about getting my cleaning that day I was told cleanings are for people with healthy gums and I did not have them. I also was told for the first time in my 32 years of life that my wisdom teeth should be removed. Now having changed dentists a time or two I have NEVER been told my wisdom teeth were problematic. I can remember at least six other dentists telling me that they will probably never be a problem...suddenly when dollar signs are flying around I should have all four removed. I will never return here, and I will be conversing with my insurance company to make sure I am not charged for a cleaning since I was never given one despite beings scheduled for one. UPDATE: A colleague of mine went here yesterday and had the exact same experience. Scheduled for a cleaning and inspection, go in and have them x-ray and poke around only to tell you you will have no cleaning. His experience was literally the same as mine, they would not do anything for him that day and wanted him to spend upwards of $1000 out of pocket beyond his insurance covered services. The most frustrating part about this is my time your company has wasted. I spend 75+ hours a week working and commuting and still have to squeeze in time for my family. That being said, when I schedule what should be a routine procedure I would expect that said procedure be performed.

I would like to thank Dental Works and all their staff and oral surgeon for helping me out in an emergency situation. I ended up with a tooth needing to be pulled immediately, they were extremely helpful, very pleasant and were able to accommodate my financial situation. I would definitely recommend them for your dental needs especially the oral surgeon and her assistant they were amazing!

I am so glad I chose Dental Works. Everyone there was warm, caring, professional, and responsive. From the first phone call through the procedure I received excellent medical care as well as kindness from everyone I interacted with. I highly recommend them!

They were great. Loved being able to have the exam and surgery done the same day. The staff and Dr. were great. They also saved me a consultation fee, which my insurance doesn't cover. Other oral surgeons in the area require both an initial visit and then a surgery date. I will refer everyone I know to Dentalworks for any oral surgery needs
