Are you heading to court in Denver? That's a bummer! Things will be easier if you pretend you're going to the airport. The security line will seem small, the clerks will seem friendly and things will be relatively on time. Also, try to enjoy the splendor of this grand old building while you're there.

What a colossal waste of money and energy. And what about the Muslims? Don't they get a crescent? Where I live, where I lived, the City & County Building is lit up in green and red Christmas colors during the holidays. It's a tourist attraction, and an horrific hulatious one. But more, it's a civic sacrilege, purely anathema to the intentions of the Founding Fathers who prescribed a separation between Church and State, and proscribed  the State from establishing ANY religion. The proponents of this annual luminescent blight will tell you that it is ecumenical and broad, fair an representative. But to raise Kwanza and Hanukkah to the importance of Christmas is ludicrous. The exercise is nothing more that an opportunity to have the city pay for the festivities of the, unfortunately still a majority, resident Christians. And besides there's a Nativity scene on the front lawn.

These folks have a lot of questions to answer. Especially district 7. Nonpartisan coming soon. You all don't have to like me. For I represent all of Denver. Been monitoring you all since 2007. I told you all. And you all ignored me, and others like me. I'm not playing victim. Like you all like to tell others. To tell others. I don't need to be Mayor to beat you all. FYI

Truly inspiring building... Nice front gardeb with a great view of the Capitol building.

It's a courthouse, which means a substantial amount of people are going to leave mad. I go for work, and frankly, it's a nice courthouse. The Lindsay Flanagan courthouse gets most of the cases, leaving the county court nice and quiet. Parking can be trouble. If you are lucky enough to get a meter, take it. Parking at the post office building is usually your bets bet otherwise. I think the security guards are very polite and helpful.
