My wife and i spent 4 hours with Robin yesterday. At first I was anxious- there were a lot of choices. Robin was supportive, helpful, patient,and very detail driven. She encouraged my wife on her choices and when my wife become stuck or overwhelmed with options, she stepped in and helped guide her. From the very beginning, my wife told Robin that she would rely on her to help her make choices and if she was making bad choices, to speak up. Robin did what we asked, told my wife when something was too busy and did not match or the structural reason why we wanted to upgrade in certain areas. The mark ups were not as bad as I thought they would be, (you are basically paying full price for everything...with the convenience of having to not install it) and we ended up getting everything we wanted and 500 dollars under budget, We have another appointment to finish it all up . Over all we are both extremely pleased with the process, my wife especially- which is what matters to me.

Went in this past weekend for a design appointment with Robyn. We had heard a lot of horror stories about items costing way more than they should but we were pleasantly surprised. We were able to walk out with everything we wanted and more right at our budget. Robyn was excellent to work with and pointed us in the right direction on items but also let us do our own thing. They give you the prices right up front and work around your budget to get the same look if some items are priced to high.

I shouldn't even give these guys a star. I walked in to look at some of my options and was treated as if I shouldn't even be in there. I've spent a lot of money on this new house and picked Richmond because of the quality work that they do, but the design center people seem to think just because I'm a lighter shade of skin that I can't afford what they are selling. Disappointing...

My husband and I are building a Richmond home and visited the design center over the weekend. We had a wonderful experience with our designer, Kari. My husband and I are not designers but we had done research and had an idea of what we liked. As you may know there are no prices given before design center so I was worried we would go in and things we liked would be extremely overpriced. This was not the case. We were able to get many upgrades including cabinets & flooring within our 20k budget and walked away from the experience excited about our picks. Don't be afraid of the design center process, Kari helped us to make choices when we were stuck and I think everything will look great when our house is completed.

Loved Juliana. Went in today to changed bathroom tile and talked to Robin who was incredibly rude. Shocking thay she was hired into a customer service position. Very disappointed. I got a shoulder shrug from her and was told Juliana should have given me better direction. Shocking!
