Since 1975, the Department of Arkansas Heritage has been promoting and coordinating the discovery, preservation and presentation of Arkansas's natural and cultural resources.
The Department of Arkansas Heritage was created in 1975 to preserve and promote Arkansas’s heritage as a source of pride and enjoyment for all. DAH's four museums and four heritage resource agencies provide Arkansas information resources and unique contributions to the preservation and promotion of Arkansas heritage.
