If I could give 1/2 or 0 stars, I would. I called SEVERAL times, only to be on hold or told the office was closed (prior to advertised closing). I was sent an invoice...after I paid online (since I could NEVER get a PERSON to assist). Nowhere on the invoice stated what it was for. After waiting for over 15 mins (not in the habit a paying a bill when I don't know what it is for), I finally got a "customer service" rep. SHe stated the it was the 17% interest fee for going to collections. WHAT??!! Also, she kept interrupting me when I was speaking and told me she would have to speak to my son when he was a MINOR when this service was obtained. BTW, absolutely NOWHERE on the website or the invoice does it state that there is a 17% charge...also, I sent this payment to Howard County and my check was returned. They stated it was already sent to collections. I had zero idea. I am so angry at this system. Highway robbery. I would like to have a job where I don't have to do anything as well...maybe answer a phone...if I feel like it...angry TAXPAYING citizen. I will be filing a formal complaint.

I was on hold for about 45 min almost an hour before someone picked up. When I finally was able to speak to someone I was immediately referred back to a automatic answering service. I was trying to make a payment, get balance on the account and few other specific details that I would like to know about my account. But unfortunately I was not able to find out any of that information because once I confirmed with the Rep that I was making a payment she immediately transferred me to a machine rather then helping me herself.What’s the point of speaking to a customer representative when you will be redirected back to a machine.

THIS IS THE WORST AGENCY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH IN MY LIFE. THEY DONT [ICK PHONE WHEN YOU CALLS THEM THEY WILL KEEP YOU ON THE PHONE FOR HOURS BEFORE CUTTING YOU OFF.

For several weeks now, I have been trying to pay my water bill. What do you pull up to get it paid now? We are threatened to pay it or there is a lien on the house. So...Where is it on the internet? I thought the website was being improved and now I can't get my water bill paid. I can not find it and have been looking for 3 weeks. Did I not say a financial situation will be placed on my house if I do not pay??? What is going on in Maryland? We seem to be held hostage due to owing for utilities that we are not able to pay! Phone will have you on there forever and isn't a charge if you pay with a credit card? I just want to pay my water bill and not have to pay any more money to get this done. This is frustrating. I am wondering if I do not get any help soon about this, will make noise about cutting off my water. Water pipe busted in August. I took care of repairs AND Paid the water bill with little or no help from my employment situation. I was working contractual and due to my unemployment catching up on other bills. I was a contractual worker then and now I am unemployed still attempting to paying my bills! Maryland is at an all time low! I don't have to tell No One that. Buses changing routes, burst pipes and high utilities unable to be paid due to unemployment and boss bullies, but city want their money and will put you out if you are not able to pay. Just want to pay my water bill please...What do I DO???

If I could give negative stars, I would. These people are freaking horrible! You can't get ahold of anyone over the phone, and when they're closed, you have to go through a maze of telephone numbers trying to figure out your balance. And nevermind the website. God, the website. You try to make a payment online, and they don't even give you your BALANCE! I'm not going to throw out some money to some crooks who can't even do their freaking ass job! These people need to be fired! I have been dealing with them for 3 years, and it has really affected my credit because I can never get ahold of them. I need a statement on what I still owe. They took my state taxes from me 3 years in a row. This should've been paid off already! Has anybody written them a letter? Have they gotten back to you? And if so, how long did it take? I sent them an email, but I was reading one of the reviews that said their email address is invalid. If I can't get ahold of them, I'll probably have to file a dispute. I can't let this go on any longer. It's ridiculous.
