I have moved a handful of times in my career. I can easily say that this was the worst service and the highest number of damaged/broken goods. Regardlesss of 1 month lead time to the desired move date, I still had to 'negotiate" a backup delivery date and they still missed that. Still unpacking crushed boxes and all of them are laden with soot from storage and travel. It takes a LONG time to unpack when you have to wipe down every box and then slowly unpack,....hoping not to find damaged goods inside. Every wood table and chair has a nick. United/Armstrong  - Never again.

We needed a container to hold our furniture while we put in new flooring.  I got an online quote from the big name in Portable Storage and Moving Containers and saw an ad for United Mayflower.  I got a quote from United Mayflower and was surprised by how much I could save with them.  I also checked the U-Move it Yourself guys,  who have little containers (5'x8') that you pick up and return yourself.  I couldn't see that working out, since I would need three or four little containers to hold as much as one big (8'x16') container.  No contest.   

United Mayflower was a breeze.  They worked with me to get a delivery date that wouldn't hold up my remodel project, delivery and pick up were right on time.  Everybody I talked to was courteous, professional and pleasant.  The UnitedMayflower storage container was flawless from start to finish.  (Unlike a lot of other things on this remodel.  But that's another story.)
