This is a very quite and relaxing place to set up your RV weather its for a weekend or for extended stay the price is extremely affordable and they except older RV up to 1980 as long as they at in good condition I find the property to be clean and they have security after 5pm that drives the property every hour and is posted at the front entrance all night filtering the individuals that come onto the park. This is a  caring minded and friendly place to stay . If you stay you will enjoy the time  you spend here.

Used to love security gate. They just give you such a hard time if you walk or bike in from the bus. I'M JUST COMING HOME! getting old. Ready to change my rating. 

Cool place cool vibes. 

Pros. Larger site with dirt and concrete pad for car, unbias owner and staff (no rules against 55 and under, kids, etc), night guard, and cheaper than most.

Cons. A little outdated, could use another functioning restroom in the grounds. 

But they make rates cheap so knowing rates would go up if they did these things.

I'm good either way!

It's a good place and affordable. Were to stay in a pinch.  For a visit to the town. And plan to stay for awhile. This is the place to go.

The park and staff are great, but if you have a wife and don't want issues be careful. There is a bad man who lives here. Police can't arrest as they can't prove his involvement.

Best prices in the area! It's a bit more comfortable than the other parking lots turned to campgrounds it the area because each space has a nice gravel pad next to the concrete. There is always security in the evening, and the park is quiet most of the day. Restrooms need to be updated a bit, however the two showers in the women's room are very clean. If you are travelling with dogs, the park does not have a pet area. On the plus side, this park has some of the biggest spaces in the area, and dogs are allowed to be out in your space. There is always a wide variety of campers and trailers, a mix of long-term and weekenders. They offer a clubhouse with wifi, a pool and patio, a store with cafe style food service, and it's all in a pretty cool building filled with the owner's collections. Highly recommended saving money and checking in at Desert Sands. Right next to a transit stop, a mile from a major shopping area, and you choose your own site.
