I thought I try this place because of the reviews but now I have to question if the reviews are legitimate. The person was pleasant and the box braids were neatly done but there is too much space between the braids and the braids themselves do not go the full length as I requested also they are not braided all the way down. Also, the braids go from thick to thin toward the bottom half of the braid. I know she skimped and tried to cut corners. That's what I hate, just do the right thing and stop trying to cheat. I asked for simple box braids, nothing elaborate ...This person doesn't know how to do business and keep business. I spent so much money and time to have something I don't like.  I've tried a couple of different places over the years but I always go back to one shop in particular because my hair has always come out as expected.

Being new to the area, I did a lot of research about braiding places before going here. Most places had awful reviews, so I opted to give this place a try and I'm so glad I did. It was very clean, quiet, and not in an area that looked "unsafe". The braider was very kind, patient and personable. She (and her daughter) made the experience wonderful. She does not braid tight, makes sure you are aware of the price BEFORE she starts your hair, makes sure you are in a comfortable position by providing a stool for your feet and the furniture was well taken care of! 
By the time she had finished my hair it was dark. Being a young woman, I am always very cautious of my surroundings but I truly appreciated her watching to make sure I had made it to my car safely. 
If you do decide to go here, you won't regret it!

I LOVE this place!  They are professional, efficient and the salon is VERY clean.  They do not braid tight and the braids last, even once you wash your hair.  I brought my own hair, but they do sell hair there.  I am going back for the 3rd time in 2 weeks.  Best and cleanest braid place I've ever been.

I have been there 5 times now and will always go back to them. The place is quiet and clean. As long as I am wearing braids I will be going to Destiny Hair Braiding.

Called a few days before to set up appointment including price, length and type of hair I should get.  The place was clean and quiet comparing to the last couple places I have had my hair done. No rude loud chatting.  My stylist was very courteous, didn't take a break and very nice.  I got micros which took 6 hours and done with one stylist only.  She washed my hair which I requested and ask if I wanted the ends to be glued or knotted.  I chose glue. I will definitely be returning to get my hair done here.  Overall, my experience there was wonderful.  FINALLY I FOUND MY BRAIDING PLACE!! YAYYYYYY !!!!!!!!
