This place is open to the public but ran by the military. Two campgrounds in close proximity. Full hookups for 25 bucks a night! Roomy sites with a picnic table and a grill. The sites are not well maintained at Eagles Rest as the grass is taking over the gravel sites and needs trimming. There are NO firepits. Fletcher's Fork down the hill has paved pull through sites. Bathhouse is nice and code is needed to get in. There is a large pavilion for rent/use , playground, picnic area, basketball courts. 4 stars for full hooks and large site. More like 3.5 if I could give a 1/2 star. I would stay again. Came for the eclipse.

Pro: $25/night, coin laundry facility, bathrooms. Quiet. Large herds of deer close by and lots of geese. Immediately next to skeet shooting range. Con: no longer has a general store, no Wi-Fi, no cable, poor cell phone service/reception. Area is under construction after flooding so no lake, no playground, no dam so the stream runs slow and is murky, lots of mosquitos. For multiple sites, the sewer is ackwardly placed. Multiple sites are only 20 and 50 amp. No refunds. Overall looks run down.

I gave this a 4 star rating for theses reasons. As a kid I knew this as the Rod and Gun Club of Fort Campbell. The staff is friendly, the RV campsites are well kept and the prices are affordable. the reason why it didn't get the 5th star is because of some of the things that need to get fixed. There is a cover picnic bench by one of the play grounds that need to be repaired or removed and the suspended bridge should be repaired and reopened to visitors for use.

This place is better than a lot of the civilian campgrounds we've stayed at!
