My mother was at this facility and my family and I are very upset with the service she received. My mother was there to receive physical therapy after suffering from a UTI and seizures.  She was there one day and was fine.  The morning after, we arrived and she was sitting down and seemed out of sorts.  She soon began to tell us that she had fallen.  Very concerned we checked and sure enough she had many bruises starting from her head near her temple all the way down to her legs.  What was even more surprising was that when we asked no one knew that she had fallen. In the state that she was in there was no way that she could have gotten herself up.  Her hair had been nicely combed to cover her head bruise.  We called the supervisor and they did nothing other than interview attendants.  No one saw anything or helped her up!  They would not do anything else.  While we acknowledged that given her condition she could stood up by herself and fallen. But there was no way that she could have picked up herself from the floor or where ever she landed. Still no one saw or witnessed anything.  We ended up having to call 911 ourselves.  In the hospital she had to remain for week to recover from the fall and other ailments.  Devon Gables did an investigation and have determined nothing!  Very sadly, 3 months later my wonderful mother passed away.  We believe that this fall might have been one of the reasons that led to her passing.  We never again heard from Devon Gables or anything else about their investigation.

Food is marginal, nurses come when they want, not immediately.  My mother was dirty from no shower on the day I picked her up.  She left with a UTI, which landed her back in the ER shortly thereafter once it was discovered.  Shay is a great nurse tho.  Accounting dept. does not return telephone call to messages left, and said they would work on a payment system for my Mother and did not.  My Mother had several incontinence "accidents" waiting for someone to come assist her once she pressed the button.  Hallways smell terrible, not very clean.  Good luck.

They've been sued 18 times since 2003 for neglect, wrongful death and abuse of vulnerable adult. I would call that excessive.

Unless you are sinility stricken with dementia elderly person, who doesn't like to eat good food. &  enjoys the company of other old people. & have nobody in life whom you would like to visit with. or reconnect with. say like a distant spouse, who you love... but understand this in, here they won't be allowed to actually play their roles. due to the "rules"! they try to enforce. If you are just biding your time, untill you die anyhow! then this might be the place for you!
