Lots of interesting rescue animals here, who are clearly well cared for and loved. The owners appear to be good stewards of material and nature. Most of the structures were built with recycled materials, and the cats are fed primarily from roadkill picked up locally. Visitors are free to roam respectfully, and the owner also provides tours where he talks about the animals. We had a great time.

This place is amazing owners are so friendly the amimals, are well taking care for. What a beautiful place to spend the day! My husband and i drove 5 plus hrs to come here, we will be coming again before they close for the winter! Ty Bob and Julie, u both are amazing!

Beautiful and fun place to visit.  The care that they have for their animals is so beyond words.  The connection that Bob has with each individual animal is amazing!  I highly recommend visiting DEW and showing them your full support in what they do and stand for.  Without them rescuing these animals the animals would be put down just because no one wants them.

My family and I loved our visit to this place. The staff was friendly and informative. The owners were present and welcoming. They are all hard workers and extremely admirable. What they are doing for these animals is amazing. Giving them a safe and loving environment. These animals were well taken care of. All in great health and well tempered. They were all very content in their surroundings. They were not timid. In fact none of the animals ran and hid. They came right up to us loving the attention. My 4 year old daughter fed the deer and bears. It was a wonderful experience and well worth the money. We will definitely visit again and recommend it to others!

I love this place.  For everyone making negative comments...you complain about the price...how much do you think it costs to feed one tiger for a year?  Your money if for the animals but if you choose to spend your money at a local shelter...good for you...the money is used the same way but I guarantee that you're not donating $70.  Next, these animals came from horrendous conditions and some were on their death bed when they came to DEW Haven.  These people love and care for every one of these animals.  The enclosures may not be "beautiful" but they run on donations and volunteers.  If you want to see "pretty" enclosures I would suggest going to a zoo.  This place is a sanctuary for these animals.  DEW Haven, keep up the good work!!!!
