years ago we were introduced to Nir and his staff.  So happy to be part of their family!  His expertise really shines and can give you an honest opinion on any diamond, whether one of theirs or someone else’s.  Nir helped me personally find the perfect diamond for my wife, and helped me custom design her ring for it. She gets compliments nearly daily.  In fact, she got one today, which prompted me to write this review. Couldn’t be happier than we are. Have sent many people there as well.  We are half a country away from AZ, but always make it a point to deal with the Diamond Source.

Absolutely FANTASTIC experience here!! I called for some info about an appraisal while jewelry shopping, and the associate (Kristi) suggested I come in to see their inventory also - boy am I glad she did!!!  I stopped in the next day, and immediately was introduced to the owner. He is friendly, outgoing, extremely helpful, VERY knowledgeable, detail-oriented - and best of all, took plenty of time to educate me on cuts of stones, depth, table, etc (more than just The Four C's!) We examined several stones side by side under loupes, and compared color levels when next to each other as well, so I could see with my own eyes. We also talked about GIA grading certificates vs. other companies and the regulations. An unparalleled experience compared to ANY other jewelry store I've been to in my entire life, by far!! Needless to say, we ended up talking about many other things as well - travel, cars, kids, business, etc. I was truly treated like a member of the family from the very beginning - before even purchasing anything! Nir takes pride in what he does and his passion for it absolutely shows!
He offered to find me a stone with the specifications and price which I desired, however I actually ended up purchasing something that was in inventory already, and am quite happy that I did.
I can't say enough good things about Nir, Kristi, or the entire experience! I will return, and will certainly recommend them to family and friends! Deal in COMPLETE and utter confidence here, folks!!! I wouldn't even hesitate to buy something over the phone and have it shipped to me. Five stars/two thumbs up for The Diamond Source Scottsdale!!!

Nir and his staff just get it. I couldn't have asked for a better experience and I couldn't be more thrilled with the ring I got. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for jewelry to go see Nir. You will be happ you did.

I can not say enough about this store. From the very moment we walked in, we felt like family. Nir (the owner) and Kristi (the manager) went way above and beyond anything we even expected. They were flexible, patient, friendly, and warm. They had an incredible selection of stones and settings for both men and women. They explained everything from the moment we picked out the stone, to even after we picked up the ring and needed help with appraisals for insurance purposes. If you want a personal and educated experience buying a beautiful piece of jewelry, look no further. We will definitely be returning for future pieces. Thank you a ton!!!

Honesty, Integrity and Informative are all words that come to mind when thinking of Nir (owner) and Kristi (manager) of The Diamond Source in Scottsdale. I had a coworker who recommended I stop by to learn more about an engagement ring that would be suitable for my future wife. I am very happy I did -- after looking at approximately 10 other stores, Nir and Kristi provided the most information and made the process of finding and buying a ring enjoyable and personable. My Fiance is absolutely thrilled with the ring leaving me happy as well. 5 stars to both Nir and Kristi at The Diamond Source!
