Story

Diamondhead Resort is Northeast Oklahoma's place for fun in the sun. If you want your friends and family to have the best canoe, kayak, or raft trip possible, bring them to Diamondhead Resort. We are open daily from Memorial Day through Labor Day. If you would like to stay before Memorial Day or after Labor Day you will need a reservation.

We will safely transport your party to the selected launching point, and return everyone to their vehicles once they have reached their destination.

When you get done with your float you are always welcome to stay and enjoy our clean facilities. We have picnic areas, sand volleyball pits, horseshoes, a basketball court, and a playing field for any other activities. We also have a full service bar with food located next to the office. You can relax inside with multiple TVs or on the patio. While you are hanging out you can use our free wi-fi to let your friends know you're having a great time at Diamondhead!

If you enjoy the great outdoors, Diamondhead Resort features the best campgrounds on the Illinois River. We also have motel rooms and bunkhouse with A/C for those of you who don't like to rough..

We have campgrounds with 30 amp and 50 amp electrical outlets with bathrooms, as well as primitive grounds with added privacy. You can also setup camp right next to the soothing sounds of the Illinois River.

To ensure that everyone has a fun and safe time, a security crew patrols the grounds on weekends and enforces the midnight - 7am quiet hours.

We welcome all church groups, high school groups, and motorcycle rallys!!! Please call ahead of time to make reservations.

Please note that no private boats are allowed on the Diamondhead property.
