If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. Fantastic beach for families. The kind of beach you hear about in stories...toddler area surrounded buy a safe barrier, floating deck, walkway around the whole swim area, diving board in the deep end, option to leave the area to try some very fun cliff jumping, a few hiking trails to wonder, and even a rental stand with ice cream and treats. I wish we had used more sun screen and stayed there all day, the whole family was sad to leave.

I thought the hill into the swim area was great for hanging out with friends and family, and there was one or two life guards on duty. It's neat that there are some rocks you can jump off. There is also a divider wall from shallow to the deeper part....as great as that was, it seemed to keep dirty toddler water enclosed in the area, and not letting it circulate through....I thought it was just kind of gross. Even though people put their kids in swim diapers, if a child pees, it's going to go through that....and the water just wasn't moving in the shallow area. The kayaking and paddleboarding looked like heaps of fun, but I am not sure I would swim in the lake again.

Awesome lake for swimming and non-motorized boating. Large grassy area for picnicking and sunbathing. Restrooms on site. Snack vendor present. No overnight camping. Must pay a per vehicle fee to enter the park, which also offers the Shoshone Falls park and overlook.

Very beautiful to walk around here. The trails are fun to walk or run. A few ponds you can swim in and jump off the cliffs. Relaxing here.
