You should start taking Josef Silny's graduation report from international nurses. It's absolutely ridiculous for a board to accept only one company.
The ISBN is the worst company one could ever imagine dealing with. I was lied to for over a month. Each time I called, it was a gamble on whether or not I would be speaking with someone who actually cared about the customer. They would give you a roundabout answer and never fully help you. They often blame someone else. How was I lied to? Every time I called, they still have not received my certificate of completion despite my school sending it certified. 30 days later, my school sent another and they still “did not receive it”. The lady I spoke with on the phone went to look for herself and said she could not find it. I explained my situation and how long I’ve been waiting and she went to speak with my so called “representative” and conveniently found my certificate. I am under the impression they had it the entire time but never wanted to actually “find it”. It is clear everyone who works there is not a happy or pleasant individual. Even though they “found” my certificate, it is like pulling teeth to get them to send my authorization to test. I wish I could say that I would never have to deal with them again, but unfortunately I’m sure that is not true. Other students in my cohort have Personally went to the building and demanded that they search for it and they have conveniently “found it” each time. My suggestion, go in person and save yourself the hassle of being lied to each time you call. Wait roughly 5 days after it being sent and go in person. It is easier to lie over the phone than in-person. They clearly have no desire to do their job with any sort of enthusiasm or integrity.
Dealing with the state board of nursing has been one of the worst experiences I have ever witnessed. It actually feels like systems are put into place to make sure young aspiring nurses fail. This whole process will take more than 200$ and 2 months. If someone in the right position actually cared about helping another human, this could easily have been a better experience.
The customer service is abominable unfriendly, and rude representative; she kept on interrupting me not giving me the chance to talk or ask questions, SMH.
The customer service is abominable. The representative interrupted my questions, admittedly gave false answers, and proceeded to hang up the phone when questioned about her false statement.
I waited over an hour on the phone and no one ever answered. I have called numerous times to get help on my application for the NCLEX and no one I have spoken to has been willing to help.
no answers, what happened to our profession?
They sustain the cartel that harms consumers.
