Diggerland

About

Diggerland is a construction themed adventure park where children and their families drive, ride, and operate machinery in a safe friendly environment.

Story

Diggerland USA is the only construction themed adventure park in North America where children and families can drive, ride and operate actual machinery. The park, which covers about 14 acres in West Berlin, New Jersey (20 minutes from Philadelphia), is comprised of over 25 attractions. The majority of which are real, diesel powered, full-size, pieces of construction equipment. Each machine has undergone advanced engineering modifications which make them safe for the public, allowing children as small as 36″ to operate with little to no instruction.

Guests who visit Diggerland can drive full size backhoes, dig giant holes with real excavators, and operate just about every sort of construction machine you might imagine – from the skid-steers to the recently unveiled ARGOs, made famous by their amphibious qualities.

Along with operating heavy machinery, Diggerland guests can climb one of the world’s tallest ropes courses, take an off-road adventure in our military trucks, tackle the rock wall, spend time in the video arcade and more.

This is a super fun place to take your kids too. I have taken my son here twice and he loves it. They have very interesting rides and games you can play. The food selection is limited to your standard fast food fare. Unlike other places in NJ parking is free! Hallelujah! Expect to exit through a gift shop. So be prepared for your kid to nag you about buying something.

So much fun! Our 8 year old loved it ( so did his dad! Haha) actually getting to use the heavy machinery was such a great experience. It was very hot when we went and the only air conditioned place was the gift shop. There was food in the park and a covered place to eat but holy Hades it was still a sweaty trip. Would 100 percent go again but perhaps not in the middle of summer

Great place to take your kid who loves playing in the dirt, big construction machines and getting a chance to operate a digger. The admission price is reasonable for the family. If your visiting on your birthday month there is a little discount. The lines were pretty fast and the rides were perfect for the little kids. They do have an adult section where the parents can ride actual construction machines. I believe you might need to make reservations for the adult section (digger X). My only problem was that there is barley any shade or places to stay cool on really hot days. I would recommend sunscreen and maybe an umbrella for the really hot days. Other than that. It’s a great place for the family. We drove 1hr 30min to digger land and we left thinking it was worth the day. There is also a water park nearby if you want to make a weekend of it.

Very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very very fun and exciting and amazing and wonderful and fantastic and did I say fun, yet. Lol. There is so much to do here with the kids and adults, for that matter. If your local, with in an hour, it makes sense to purchase the annual pass as it pays for itself in less than two trips. There are all kinds of construction equipment for kids to drive. It's very safe, they have a lot of rules. Certain rides have long lines but certain rides also have a few different courses of the same ride so the lines are more split up and less time waiting and if you want to try your luck, there is a rock climbing wall and more luck pressing than that is the obstacle course. It's a 4-story high rope course with different rope Adventures on each level. They strap you into a harness which slides down and I beam above you while you're on the obstacle course so if you fall, you will only fall a foot or two before the safety harness catches you and you just pull yourself back up and get right back at it. If you are scared of heights than I do not recommend this course. I'm scared of heights, I made it to the first level and turned right back around and went right back down and that was after waiting 45 minutes in line too. The Rope course can be a little nerve-wracking. The only thing I recommend is eating before you come as their snack/lunch bar is expensive as well as their soda machines throughout the park but other than that this place is a lot of fun and excitement and definitely worth the trip

This place is a massive place It's a lot of fun it's enjoyable But one big problem is there in a hot sunny day of 95 degree you can not bring in no food and no drinks. Do you know why? Answer: because they want to rip off your pocket because they sell a bottle of water for $3.75 A can soda for $3.75 And all foods are really expensive And one more thing remember to bring along cash Because the minimum swipe for a credit card is $10 (like this you need to buy 3 water bottles)
