I'm in the shoe department on June 5th and I asked an associate for a shoe in a size 9. While she was getting the shoe I decided to look in the clearance section. I found two pairs of MK tennis shoes, one pair Coach loafers, one blue Sam Edelman blue heel and one Gianni Bini nude heel, so I find a spot and sat down to try on shoes. First a black female associate comes and ask if I'm gonna get the MK tennis shoes so I say I'll let you know when I'm done. I found it to be a bit troubling however, I overlooked it but apparently another customer wanted to try them on. About 5-10 minutes later a white male associate comes over and ask if I'm going to buy the shoe because another customer wants to try it on. I tell him that I've never known it to be customary to ask one customer for a shoe to give to another customer. I also tell him that I feel offended that he would even approach me and that I'd been approached twice. He says that he doesn't know why I'd be offended by the encounter because he only asked a question. I told him that he was invading my personal space and disturbing me. He says he doesn't know why because he just wanted to know about the shoe for another customer. So I ask, what would make that customer more important than myself, since I'm a customer also? Then I ask, why is He being argumentative with a customer (me)? He walks away and I began a conversation with my daughter and the associate who was assisting me. He immediately comes back and begans to debate with me again. So I say, you came back to argue with a customer (me) I tell you what, I won't buy anything I'll just go to another Dillards and you can put all these shoes back. I was forced to call the Manager because now this is just plain rude. I mean, where do they do that? Where is that behaviour acceptable? Am I not an important customer also? This world!!!!

On March 18 2017 I called to see if they had any baptism outfits in a 18mo the girl tells me that they have them in infants but she couldnt check and see if they had it in the size i needed because they have customers. The last time i check i am a customer if im inquire about a merchandise....... Well i know where not to go.
