Great pub with a ton of space. Somebody told me Dillon's Restaurant & Irish Pub started in Atlanta. The original Buck head location was a block away over on Peach tree, and this newer spot has a lot more space. It's hard to beat a Guinness and a soccer match.

Seems like a place for regulars. Geared toward sports fans, not Irish expatriates. Food selection is unique and well done. Service is decent. Ask for your fish and chips twice fried

Let me start off by saying the food here is wonderful; I had the corned beef and cabbage 
, my husband had the shepherd's pie and we finished off with the Irish bread pudding for dessert... everything was delicious. Unfortunately, that delicious food was overshadowed by the horrible service there. My husband and I are both servers and we try to give the benefit of the doubt to other servers, but this time, there was no excuse. The restaurant was dead... there were maybe 3 other tables sat and more than one server. Our server, Melanie, didn't check on us until we were down to the last couple bites of our meals, took about 10 minutes to come back with a refill, and then took another 10 minutes to return with our check. Paid cash since we didn't want to have to wait another 10 minutes to have her pick up our credit card.

Thought maybe the bad service was just a fluke, but after reading other reviews, looks like it's pretty common here. Sad to hear management doesn't seem to care much, either. Won't be returning, despite how good the food was.

I'm seeing a lot of negative reactions here. My time at the dillions was awesome, but I haven't been there on the weekend, so probably it's different under the week. My boyfriend and me ate  3 dishes at the dillion's and we also had some drinks like Whiskey and Cocktails. Everything tasted great, the food was freshly made and the cocktails had a good mix (a lot of bars don't put enough alcohol into them). The music was great aswell! I've red in the comments that someone was annoyed by hip hop music but I honestly have to say, that all we heard was Irish pub music -  not even one hip hop song. The dillion's is a great place to stay... at least under the week :)
