We have additional branches located in the Jacksonville area, Pensacola, FL., Kings Bay, GA., Virginia Beach, VA., and Pearl Harbor, HI.

I have worked with Mike at DirecTax for both business and personal taxes for the past 3 years. They have been great each time. The staff is very quick to welcome you in and help out. They are fast, efficient, friendly, and a great value. HIGHLY Recommended.

Directax claims to cater to military personnel and are allowed to set up shop directly outside the Navy Exchange. Their price ($130ish) is probably cheaper than other places out in town, but six or seven times more expensive than simply filing your W2 online. Most online services allow military personnel to file for free or at a very reduced cost. Not so with Directax. Not only is the fee steep, but only check or cash are accepted for payment. If you'd like them to simply take their fee from your return, you'll be charged an additional $44! I was outraged. When I told the man to discontinue my claim, to not file it and that I'd file online myself, I was told that wasn't an option. The intake information sheet you are asked to fill out has a box on the top by which you acknowledge the tax service provided is not free binds you, they said, to either file and pay the full fee or pay $50 to walk out the door. Again, outrageous! I don't know how DirecTax is invited on base year after year. I'm sure they pay the NEX a premium to "provide" their "service." I do know that you can do much better by filing online yourself. DO NOT USE DIRECTAX! I know I wont' ever again.
