My wife and I stumbled on Angela and John near our house coordinating another estate sale. They were managing a brigade of house predators. We were so impressed by their intelligence and integrity and we retained them within 10 minutes. The sale - We accumulated 25 years of valuable furniture and belongings. Amazingly, John and Angela handled everything the weekend of our estate sale. They helped us dispose of every item we wanted to sell. They buffered us from every problem. Their staff watched our belongings and protected our house. We didn't worry for a minute despite hundreds of people entering our home. Whatever didn't sell (very little) was taken on consignment by John and Angela. Selling everything you own through a third party is a leap of faith. There was never a moment of doubt with Angela and John. Use them!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Working with Angela and John of Discovery Antiques & Jewelry has been such a pleasure. It was a difficult time for our family, moving our parents to a retirement community. The home contents and much art work had to be downsized and sold. Angela and John understand how emotional the process was for us and also understood and worked extremely hard to get the top prices for my parent's belongings. I highly recommend them and am so happy we chose to do this business with them.

In early 2016, my father died and left my stepmother with the overwhelming task of liquidating all of his and many other family possessions in a very large house. Discovery Antiques led and organized our estate sale, furniture and other items sold at auction and silver, paintings, and other valuables sold using various online venues. Angela and John, not only did a great job in getting us the most money possible for our family possessions, they treated my stepmother with fairness and much compassion for the sensitive situation around the loss of my stepmother's husband. Angela and John were totally trustworthy, as they had access to many valuable items, and never this betrayed this trust. Discovery Antiques is not your typical liquidation dealer who churns out run of the mill estate sales. They provided an "end-to-end" service, including complete clean out of the house. John and Angela are incredibly knowledgeable with the valuation of all types of antiques and have subject matter experts who they use as resources for anything that they may not know or may require confirmation of. Our experience with Discovery Antiques was first rate and I would highly recommend their services. You will be dealing with extremely professional, nice people.

I recently purchased a bar cart from Discovery Antiques and Jewelry. Dealing with owners, Angela & John was such a pleasure. They found exactly what I was looking for and stayed within my budget. The piece was in impeccable condition and they offered me suggestions on how to care for it too. I will definitely be back to Discovery for my next treasure.

I happened on discovery antiques in Bernardsville and purchased a beautiful piece of jewelry. I had an instant connection with the owner, Angela, so I also sold her some old jewelry and received quite a bit more than offers I got from other jewelry stores. This is a must go place ! ! !
