The staff was very friendly and efficient. I have a narrow mouth and have difficulty with x-rays, but staff was very understanding, patient, and helpful during the process. Very positive experience - would recommend.

I rarely write reviews, but I saw a negative one I felt needed to be rebutted.  Yes, the initial visit was lengthy and thorough.  I liked my prior dentist but had to change when I got new insurance.  Dr. Balan and her staff identified many conditions my prior dentist had overlooked.  The catch-up of reworking my mouth cost several thousand dollars.  But it was worthy every penny.  I'm still in an intensive cleaning mode ... but I hate to contemplate where I would be if I hadn't found Dr. Balan when I did.  Most reviews mention her compassion ... and they're right; but on top of that, she's just a good dentist.  She also chooses her staff carefully and they're all good, too.  That's important, because you'll spend more time with the rest of the staff than with the dentist.

The staff at DPD always strive to provide excellent care for their patients. They also know you when you come in and greet you by your name. Dr. Balan is so nice and very gentle too. I have been to other dental offices and ended up coming back because the care was always better here. Thank you :)

This is the best dentist I've been to!! After they did my teeth cleaning on my first visit, my teeth felt that tingly super clean feeling for a least 2 weeks. I've been to other dentist in Austin and was not happy. This place gets an A+ and double thumbs up!!
