We've been taking our cats in for years. I went in to pick up a prescription for one of them. They said it was an over the counter med. I don't drive so it's difficult for me to go places. I was home for 10-ish minutes. I just got a call from them saying there IS a prescription! And that she'll bring it to me when she gets off work tonight! I LOVE Disney Pet Hospital!

We have taken our 2 dogs to Disney Pet Hospital for approximately 14 years; as well as a previous dog for her entire life. This has always been our vet and we have never experienced any problems until recently. I am so extremely disappointed in my last interaction with them. I woke up the morning of July 8th to find my dog had unexpectedly and tragically passed away. We were in total disbelief and in such shock as to what had happened. We called Disney and they said to bring our girl in and they would handle cremating her. Upon our arrival to the parking lot, a woman came out with a black bag to take our dog inside... my fiancé and I said, “uhm, we will carry her in thanks.” So we carry our dog inside in our blanket that we brought from home. They take us through the back entrance and tell us to place her on a metal table that was in this back room. We lay her down and before we could even get the chance to completely set her down the women says, “Do you want your blanket back?” My fiancé and I looked at each other and said, “well yeah..” and before we knew it she had ripped the blanket out from under her. I had a confused look on my face but ignored it and proceeded to say goodbye to my baby. It was very uncomfortable as the employees sat there and watched us; they did not provide any type of privacy so we could say our final goodbyes. A few minutes later, as I am bent over crying and hugging my deceased dog on this metal table, the staff brings a live and well dog back into the same room and proceeds to laugh and play with this dog as if we were not there. I was so utterly upset and confused as to what was going on. I already felt rushed because she had passed so suddenly and it was a Saturday so they were closing early. To bring another dog back and play with them 2 feet away from us while we are mourning over what just happened… I was completely appalled. All I wanted to do was focus on saying goodbye to my sweet girl so I did not have the energy to argue with someone about such rudeness, especially while I am bawling my eyes out. I am disgusted with the bedside manner of the staff that I encountered that day. Complete disrespect; no empathy, and no compassion. I fortunately have never been in this type of situation with my fur babies before but it was absolutely not what I expected… apparently I set my expectations too high with going to our lifetime vet whom I thought would provide us with as great of an experience as someone can have given the situation. I understand that working at a vet with animals, you encounter these situations often and may in a sense become “numb” to it, but that in no way justifies how they acted. I am a Registered Nurse in a human ER; I am surrounded by death almost everyday just as they are and I would NEVER act that way towards someone’s family. Needless to say, we will not be bringing our second dog there to be cremated nor will we be bringing any future fur babies there to receive care.

Love this place! Dont take your family members anywhere else. Parking is a bit tuff when they are busy but the care you get here is worth the minor hassle. All the docs here are patient and listen to you. They tend not to push needed thing on you or your pet. My only suggestion is more waiting room seating. Lol that's not really and option but hey... one can dream. 😁

This has been our vet (we have 5 pets: 2 small dogs and 3 cats), and they have been wonderful for every visit.

We took Abby in to have a foxtail removed from her nose. The staff was wonderful. Very helpful and friendly. Dr. Rothe actually took the time to talk to me about Abby. We haven't had a better experience anywhere else. I would highly recommend this clinic. I would like to add to this review. On 5/19/2017, we had to take BJ, our cat, in for a yearly check up regarding hypothyroidism. Again the stafff and Dr. Rothe were very cordial and helpful. Dr. Rothe was also very informative regarding an alternative treatment for BJs condition. One which we will definitely pursue. Again, a wonderful experience.
