Other reviews say what a time-saver this location is... LIES! Granted, I did not have an appointment, but I've been here for over 3 hours waiting to do a basic driver license renewal. No test, no address change, no points on my record... I'm just waiting for the worker to take my $35 so I can leave. The lady sitting next to me says she's been waiting 4 hours to renew, and behind me has been here 7 hours for a road test. Driving here from Bakersfield was a mistake. Edit: Once I got to talk with the worker, she was friendly and helpful. Added 1 star for her pleasantness 🌟

The whole DMV system is in need of revamping. Tried to make an appt but they are running almost a month out. Took my chances...2 1/2 hours later I accomplished my task. The line was long and observed the first person/reception was less than friendly or helpful to most. I get it's a thankless job, however.... Once my number was finally called, the staff was friendly, helpful and efficient.

What a great experience!! Got here at 8:01 AM, there were already 30 people sitting down and 10 people in line but the line moved fast, you don’t think a number here you get into a line and the lady gives you the proper paperwork and collect your name to call you up to the next available counter, I told her that I needed what is an H6 form, bullshitted with her asking if she’s ready for Christmas, and how her day is going? Sometimes you have to flirt to get what you want right? Anyways I walked in at 8:02 AM and walked out the door by eight or 9 AM with my form in hand for five dollars

Worst DMV to go to. The women in window number 1 on 03/27/18 at 10:30am was very rude. She wasnt willing to help at all. Do not go here and waste your time.

Recommend coming here instead of in Bakersfield. It's worth the extra Drive and wait is much less if you don't have an appointment.
