BEST Indian food I’ve had since being in NYC for a month. I went two night in a row it was so good and I’m a meat eater but the flavors and spice is so perfect that I do not need the meat! The owner and his wife are so kind. You can tell they put all of their love into the food! Dietary restrictions: Gluten free and this always hits the spot!
Food was super tasty but too spicy for me. Definitely only eat here if you have high spice tolerance
Had the thali tray $10. with a choice of 4 items and 2 large freshly made rotis. All choices were vegetarian. Pretty flavorful. One dish was chili spicy. The rest were well spiced and each tasted different. Dine in, 3 tables, 11 seats. Bathroom.Food: 4/5
Excellent Food No Doubt, Quantity is Great but There's lack of transparency on Prices A thumbs Up Can Apparently costs 2x of all other cans even though it's same quantity On Menu, It was written 1.5$ all Soda Cans but I was charged 3$ for it. Plus, To make payment via Credit Card you have to incur extra fees. My Total was 8$ but I had to pay 8.71$ Those extra 2.21$ are not much but transparency would have been appreciated. Behaviour of staff and Service is good just that transparency of Prices is lacking!
If I could, I’d rate the food 6/5 stars! This is my favorite Indian restaurant I’ve been to in America. The food tasted very nice and homemade. Furthermore, the lassi was extremely refreshing. And, from what I heard, the masala chai was as well. Moreover, as a person with severe nut allergies, it was great that all the food was nut free. Overall, I’d recommend this to anyone who wants a yummy and delicious meal accompanied by wonderful drinks.
The first really authentic Indian dhaba restaurant I’ve found in NYC. Amazing food, really, very kind owners & wow - the food is fabulous!!! It’s also incredibly affordable @ 10$ for a huge thali. This place is LIFE CHANGING I’m hooked - I’ll definitely be back for more!
Absolutely the best healthiest vegetarian home cooked food you can get anywhere! Spiced to perfection with abundance of cumin seeds! If you want to get rid of fat, cholesterol and have other health issues, Fresh Punjab vegan Indian food is the way to go! With fresh baked Roti you will get addicted ..
Made to order paratha Have seen many New York taxi drivers stop for a meal here which means this place is good and value for money Whatever I have tried was yummy and had a homemade meal taste to it No frills joint
The location was perfect for me because it was a block away from the place I was staying, this is the second time I try this place and for vegetarians is a great spot, you find a lot of Indian healthy and tasty options, there’s a few dishes like byriani that take time for them to make. The prices are reasonably cheap but of course, it’s not a fancy place.
Food is pure and delicious. Tastes like home food. Uncles talk very politely. Prices are very reasonable. Must try!Food: 5/5
