The city invested in New playground equipment that was beautiful for about six months.  A skate park should be an added benefit to this park.  During my last attempt to visit, there were teens making out at the skate park entrance, the playground was overrun with older kids and parents waited in their vehicles for young children to play unsupervised.  During prior visits I found the shelter area dirty, so having a picnic with my children was a poor experience.  The playground is often littered with old trash, and I have already seen graffiti on the playground equipment.  There are nicer parks to take your children in Thomasville.  Try the baseball park, Memorial Park, and the park by the downtown community center.

I've been going to this park for 4 years now, my child likes the playground; lots of slides, soft rubber ground, and plenty of swings. however you will find many times there are unaccompanied children or under-supervised children

The skate park looks fun but I'm not a boarder or a bike dude. We go here to shoot hoops and hit a few balls. They have a nice play ground for the kiddies.

Great place to have parties and an amazing place for your kids to start skating. There is even a play ground and small walking trail.

Its definitely one of the better places to go. Skate park. Baseball field. Walking track, grill pitts, shelter, kids section. This amazing track comes with a good size parking lot and if you watch carefully you can see a fair amount of drug deals between cars.
