Very convenient to be able to go to either the Manhattan or LI office. When you actually meet w/ Dr. Mandel, he is great. His PA is pretty nice and knowledgeable too, though not very organized. Had to remind her what medication was prescribed to me last. Need an Rx refill? It's impossible to get someone on the phone or to get it sent through. The past two times, I've had to call multiple times across a week just to get someone on the phone who can help me and get it sent correctly to the pharmacy. Also, my pharmacy sent a request via fax 3 times to their office and no one ever responded. I'm considering going elsewhere for my dermatology needs just based on the how disorganized the office is.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mandel's for years but the other day I saw his PA. She was kind and knowledgeable and took the time to answer all my questions. Really impressed, definitely recommend her and Dr Mandel.

Easy to make an appointment. Office was well organized with very polite/efficient staff. Dr. Mandel was nice, helpful, and approachable.

Went to see Dr. Mandel once. I called shortly after the visit as he forgot to treat the area I went to see him about. No one EVER returns a phone call, unless you are booking an appointment, and he overcharged Medicare massively! 15 minute initial visit for $850! Called three times last week, no reply. Here is an example why our medical system is broke!

The creams that provides DC Mandel are the best on the market, especially the F Cream, nothing works better for me. The issues with his office are the good for nothing assistants who open the office at 9.30 instead of 9am with no apologies, they are most of the time rude, clueless and offer no customer services whatsoever. A shame!
