Nice bathrooms. Hear the waves and sea lions from your campsite, also hear the train rolling right by. Steps to the beach. Generator hours only 10am to 8pm could be better. No water or electricity but free dump station.

I really like Doheny State Beach campground.  No hookups...no problem. Not as clean as it should be but still my favorite. Scoped out San Clemente this week and Doheny is way nicer. I just wish I could get a reservation more often.

Great beach, beginner waves for playing and surfing, no stand up paddle boarding. And no dogs on the beach, which is wonderful! Great food at cafe and ice cream, etc. Lots of fun to rent the bikes, which seat up to 6. A lovely park and places to park your RV if you get there early.

Great place to have all day gathering with family or friends. There are many grills and tables but make sure to reserve one or come early. North part of the beach is very popular for a good reason. Beach is expansive with many things available such as volleyball court, bicycle rental, and a restaurant. South part is a little quieter but beach is narrow and rocky. Not a good place for little children.

Such a fun family beach. Lots of events year round. They were setting up for paddle festival while lots of families out surfing at boneyard. Very consistent spot when there's no surf around.
