Tried to purchase cigarettes and the cashier asked for my ID which is fine, I know the law. I knew I didn't have my ID on me so I asked her if I was suppose to pass for 18. I'm 39, btw. So I went to my truck and my husband went in to purchase them. He stood behind several ppl in line as the cashier talked about me making negative comments about me. She even quit ringing ppl up to go and stare at me out of the window while my husband was standing in line. How dare she make a judgement and share it with customers who she doesn't know. That's so unprofessional. I called the store to talk to the Mgr about it. I'm assuming that the cashier is the manager ? Because at first she refused to give me her name and swore that I had the wrong store. She finally gave me the name "CJ". Then she asked me what did she do right. I said "excuse me?, you mean wrong?" and that's when she started yelling about tobacco laws. I wasn't even upset about the refusal to sell me the cigarettes. I'm upset that she was talking about me to people in line.It was really embarrassing. She also mistreated my husband before she knew that he was in fact my husband and she continued to talk negative to him about me. She slammed the cigarettes and keys on the counter and swore that I was underage. Everybody in line knew what was going on because she wouldn't stop talking about me. I don't deserve to be treated like and that awful woman should be fired.
