I purchased items at this location and did not receive all of my bags from the cashier. And unfortunately I didn’t notice until I got to an appointment I had in the area. I called immediately, dialing the store more than 10 times trying to get through to let someone know that I would be returning for my items. Once I returned to the store I was told they could not find them anywhere, so I asked why the phone was busy for so long, over a period of 2 hours to be exact, with no response. I stressed to them that because the line was busy I couldn’t contact anyone and I asked where was the young lady that rang me up…could they contact her to find out what she did with my items? I was told they could not and they could do nothing about my items because they were no longer there. I spoke with the assistant manager Julie and explained my concern but she refused to offer a solution. I thought about canceling the charge and Julie told me to do what I have to do!! Dollar General please do better. All I wanted was what I paid for, but all I received was resistance at any attempt to help resolve the situation, and because of this I will not spend money at any Dollar General stores. I will also recommend to others to refrain from patronizing the stores as well, because great businesses stay in business by offering excellent customer service.
Yesss, I really like to shop at Dollar General because it's fast and convenient. Of course I went to my good old neighborhood Dollar General today 3/20/21 to get my Cheerios Cereal and Coca-Cola. Again convenience is for me.
To start with.. only one employee every time we go here.. shelf are not stocked. Milk was out of date.. then to top it off... The cashier was VERY RUDE. She called my wife a BIT$H because she would put a cart back up when she was not using the cart. A CASHIER CALLING A CUSTOMER A BIT$H IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS SHOULD NOT BE WORKING ANYWHERE!!! BEWARE OF POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE FROM THIS LOCATION!! She's lucky she didn't get that a$$ beat...
I have no idea ,whenever I ordered online order here with good digital coupons.They cancell my order. And when I visit here I can see stock back there. Even manager is so rude and don't care customer. I Don't know what happened here. Don use digital coupons here.
I called Dollar General Headquarters on last week, April 8th regarding their Hiram Douglasville store # 07172 regarding large pot holes taking up 3 parking spaces by the building and was told I would receive a call from a local manager in 24 hours. Well, today is April 15th and I have yet to hear from someone. These pot holes need to be fixed immediately. They have been this way for months.
Normally frequent this location with no problem. But today I went in and the only associate available was speaking to a delivery man about being off and her plans to attend her grandsons graduation while the customers needed assistance with the self check out. Then when a customer finally got her attention she had to cancel the self checkout order and said out loud that "I have to cancel the order because a customer can't read" she said this phrase two times. I'm not sure if she was saying this because the customer was foreign but she was very rude. When I told her that it was rude and wrong she just nodded and did not respond. She said her name was Julie she was an older Caucasian woman.
A shop here quite often went there this morningThe two workers on duty were very helpful the young man help me find my dog food even though he was in the middle of stockingI did not get his name but he is always very Kind and patient with this senior
You will find alot of things you may need. With out having to go far. Not the best as far as clean but you sure will find all kinds of verity of things
This location is hit or miss. I like the convenient hours and location but, the staff could certainly work on their people skills. A little eye contact and a smile can go a long way. No consumer wants to leave feeling like they have just made an employee go out of their way by interrupting a personal conversation, long enough to ring up your purchase and take your money.
Love the employees that work at this store. But the store is out of so much. I realize its the times were all living. But, I see other DG Stores with stock. I shop this store on a daily so I know. Looking forward to seeing products to buy instead of having to shop elsewhere.
