The store was closed at 9:15 when they are supposed to be open till 10. This store is always filthy & cluttered. It is very hard to walk around in. They are always understaffed. Stood in line last week for over 15 minutes with only 2 people in front of me. I asked a girl working on the floor if they could open another register. She answered with "there isn't a till in the drawer. ". I said could you please go get one? After another 5 minutes, the girl walks up to the 2nd register & signs on. There WAS a till in the drawer & she had just lied to me. This place is convenient, but please get it together & train your people & clean this place up. I had to put one star to post, but would not have given any today

Can never walk thru..stuff every where..I understand they are under staffed but its been like that for many yrs. How many yrs can u use that as an excuse.

Worst shopping experience ever. Although the one and only employee in the store was pleasant, I asked if they carry distilled water and she directed me back to the bottled drinking water. That was the least of my worries. ALL the aisles were cluttered with boxes of merchandise and random items that had fallen off shelves and I could barely get my cart through them. It was impossible not to bang into boxes trying to maneuver my way through the store. I have NEVER seen such a messy and cluttered Dollar General and I've shopped at many of their stores since they first opened. When I finally made it to the check out, the machine wouldn't accept my coupons. The clerk went to ask the manager for help but came back and said the manager wasn't there and that she might have stepped out of the store. REALLY? She had to cancel transaction and run my items through again so I could get to the "coupons" selection on the screen. It worked! Then when I put in my debit card, the machine didn't work again. The clerk apologized and said they'd been having trouble with it all day!! NEVER go to this store unless you're in a dire emergency and don't even try to use a cart. You'll be sorry. This store doesn't deserve one star. It should be shut down for good!
