Rented a van for a acceptable price, collection was easy and fairly quick and service was good with both reps on the desk saying hello. The van was very nice to drive and use; could’ve been cleaner but the main issue was the fuel level at 7/8 instead of being full. The company don’t refund for any extra fuel you put in and it’s almost impossible to get the fuel to the exact same level I took it at. I didn’t appreciate this. Some slight damage to the van when collected which I couldn’t confirm on the RA rental agreement so this needs to be rectified. Return was easy and quick and I’d be happy to rent again.
I wasn't too sure when I initially booked as you need to pay with credit card to hire vehicle from this branch of Enterprise. However the service I received was extra ordinary. The staff here are great and do care about their customers. Really appreciate the service and definitely will be going back for my future hire from here. Thank you well done.
0 stars for the company considering that I rented the van two weeks before because I had to move, I paid for the necessary call I wasn't even told about the deposit and when they told me the deposit was 200 GBP ok, I have took out my card to pay and what do you think I shouldn't pay with a credit card? I told him my credit card was £200 and I needed £15 more to get to £200. I recommend everyone to think carefully before renting a car from them, they have exaggerated prices for damages, they are much cheaper private companies and the contract conditions are much better. This is a company that wants and prays for you to scratch your car so they can take a lot of money from you. Be careful!!!!
Hired a van from them 3 days ago Decided to call me the night before the booking. Shortly before their branch closed. That they don't accept debit cards nowhere is this stated, not even in the booking confirmation. Or the ready pass that I completed beforehand to speed this up The debit card I used was used to hire a van from the tower hill branch months ago. This was used in another branch outside of London this year. Twice I've used this with no issues with payments or issues with my usage of the vans. They cancelled my reservation. Told me to rebook. Which is now double the cost! Because I'm booking so close to collection Whose fault would that be? Enterprise. I tried to reach a sensible arrangement with their customer support. That I get the booking at the same price as the time I originally booked. As I could have done this again earlier and got the same price had I not been left to be told the night before. Nope they were useless and told me I would have to make my case to the branch I wanted to book from Of course, because on the day of the move I'm going to call another branch to argue my case. What kind of customer service is this? Why do they even exist if I have to make my case to the branch? I had used enterprise for 4 moves with no issues. They just lost a customer forever. Heads up everyone. Use hiring apps. In London try hiyacar or something similar. Companies like this need to die and be replaced with something that's straight forward and fit for the modern world. I got sorted and confirmed in 1 hour. Enterprise cannot offer you that service or any service apparently. Do you want to use a service that can cancel on you 15 minutes before their branch closes? The night before your supposed to move, the one you planned for in advance? Your trip, your move, your flights could be trashed last minute through no fault of your own. Well that could happen to you if you choose enterprise. They will have nothing to offer you, no help and no shame that they've left you stranded. A dinosaur of a business model. That's about to be hit by a asteroid of much more consumer friendly and easy to book apps. RIP
Appalling SCAMMERS!! DO NOT USE!!! I reserved a car 10 days in advance and gave my credit card / licence details. Less than 2 hours later 3 attempts were made on my credit card a card I never use in my daily life. Furthermore on the actual day of the car hire I was called one hour before pick up and told there was no vehicle available for me. I had to subsequently make other last minute highly costly arrangements. I have since sent 3 complaint emails and not even received one reply. Absolutely appalling. THE WORST.
Worst branch of enterprise in London. Be careful when booking, they won't ring you until the day before to confirm and in my case told us the day before that they had no cars left despite us booking 7 days before we needed the Van. Not worth the money, use Zip care much better!
for some insane reason this branch will only accept credit cards, something that i double checked for when booking and was absolutely not stated. i had a reservation for sunday that i actually cancelled at the last minute so presumably i would have found this out only when i went to collect the van. ridiculous.
The staff that work there are great but their cars are not that great! which isn't the fault of the staff!! I have been hiring from enterprise and this branch for almost 10 years approximately 7-8 rentals per year. i can not remember a single time where i had a car that was not damaged. had a warning light, smashed winscreen etc! i even had a 2 year old BMW i rented from them break down on the third lane of the motorway! I use to think its this branches fault but i realised its the fault of those customers! mainly international drivers who mess up the car, especially the manual cars because they move off on third gear. Enterprise should introduce a scoring system where they band drivers who regularly rent from them but damage their cars and only rent to international drivers who have at least 10 years experience. I am sick of renting a car then spotting damage on the walk around and then waiting for them to source another car while i wait in excess of an hour walking around the forecourt!! its not fair on us. Just in case you're wondering how i know its the customers, its because when im waiting around i see drivers returning cars with damage, i even saw a guy who damaged the van whilst driving into the car park. all he had to do was park the van outside SMH. i even saw a customer who was trying to move off without starting the engine. so you can imagine how they mess up the engine.
Cowboy operation. Called 3 hours before pickup to tell me they don't have a van for me despite me having a booking confirmation from the website service. Tried blaming it on the archaic website system which allows booking without checking with the branch. Stay away to stay sane. Left me scrambling at the last minute with zero customer service on the weekend. Absolute garbage.
Please check tyres for slow punctures as I hired a vehicle from them, they over inflated tyres as there were 2 with slow punctures but didn't come on the display until they defated after 30 mins i went back but they were closed so called the next day they were open and they told me that if it is puncture I need to pay to repair it or replace it! What a sham! Please beware or you could be out of pocket!
