Its a cute little spot to have a picnic and fish. It is currently closed. It looks like they are still recovering from the crazy rainy flood season

Camp host dog constantly barking.  Picnic area so run down.  Just didn't feel safe there

What a boring place, too limit hike like said 0.1 miles. Even rivers dangerous, no swim? Bad rating here. Good luck

Didn't stay, called for reservation but they only take 21 days out, was told you can try walk up site, it didn't looked too booked and i was going to stay in middle of week.  When we got there it was full, there were a few empty spots but they were reserved.  We did use parking lot while we looked for another place to stay, it was hot, sticky, and full of bugs.  Unless I was here fishing and using boat launch, I don't think it would be a destination.
